Nigeria. It isn't the first African country that comes to mind, is it? It would probably be South Africa or Egypt. Today we will be discussing how rich Nigeria is. Nigeria is famous for exporting lots of oil to other countries, with India buying the most from this African nation. When you think of Africa you think of starving children right? Yeah, that's what I thought you do. Well Nigeria is Africa's richest country and 29th in the world, it is richer than Austria, Sweden and Belgium however there are many people below the poverty line in Nigeria because the government and rich millionaires take the money for themselves.
Nigeria's capital city is Abuja and the country's population is 186 million (larger than Russia's and Bangladesh's).
